Hi, I’m Lezani

I’m a Clinical Psychologist based in Cape Town. Being a Clinical Psychologist is a fulfilling experience and I value accompanying my clients on their therapeutic journeys. I prioritise their wellbeing and aim to provide a comfortable and caring space where they can explore the challenges they face.

Clinical Training and Professional Experience

I obtained my Bachelor of Arts (Social Dynamics) degree from Stellenbosch University and my Honours in Psychology from the University of South Africa. I also graduated from Sefako Makgatho Health Sciences University with a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology.

I completed my internship at Valkenberg Psychiatric Hospital, Groote Schuur Hospital and Lotus River Community Health Clinic. The focus of my internship was to provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults. It also included conducting psychometric and neuropsychological assessments on children, adolescents, and adults.

After this, I finished my community service year within the Department of Correctional Services, where I provided psychotherapy to adolescent and adult male offenders. I also conducted group therapy and risk assessments.
